Behaviour Support Package – Available to book from October 2026!
A comprehensive starting point for understanding your dog’s behaviour and creating a practical plan for positive, lasting change.
Behaviour Support:
When your dog’s behaviour is worrying, frustrating or difficult to understand, it can be hard to know where to start. My Behaviour support is all about looking beyond the behaviour itself to understand what your dog may be experiencing and what might be contributing to their behaviour. From there, we can put appropriate management in place while working towards meaningful, lasting improvement.
My Behaviour Support Package provides a thorough assessment, an in-depth personalised report with management techniques and exercises to start improving that behaviour, as well as a month of ongoing support as you put the plan into action.
The Behaviour Support Package is priced at £250.
What’s included in the package?
The 2-hour behaviour assessment:
We’ll take the time to look at the bigger picture, including your dog’s history, environment, routines, experiences and the behaviour you’re concerned about.
We’ll discuss what you’re seeing, when and where it happens, what happens before and after it, and what may be contributing to it.
The aim is to build a clearer understanding of your dog’s behaviour and identify where we can make positive changes.
The in-depth written report and personalised plan:
Following the assessment, I’ll provide a detailed written report based on what we’ve discussed and observed.
The report and plan:
The report will include an overview of the behaviour and factors that may be contributing to it.
Practical management strategies to help your dog cope while we work towards change.
Clear, achievable steps to help improve the behaviour.
Recommendations tailored to your dog and your individual circumstances.
You’ll have something you can refer back to as you work through the plan, rather than having to remember everything from a single appointment.
One month ongoing support:
You won’t be left to figure everything out things on your own once you have the report, you’ll get one month of ongoing support during my working hours, stated below.
During this period you can contact me by message or email, ask questions, share updates and send videos of your dog so that I can help you troubleshoot any issues and adapt your approach as needed as you put the plan into practice.
Support is available Monday–Friday, 8am–6pm. Whilst I may not be able to reply right away, I will respond as soon as possible within these hours.
This support is designed to help you understand how things are progressing, work through challenges and make appropriate adjustments along the way.
The aims of behaviour support
Management is an important part of behaviour work, but it isn’t the end goal.
Management strategies can help keep things safe, reduce situations in which your dog is struggling, and give them the opportunity to cope more successfully in their environment. They also provide a foundation from which we can work towards changing the behaviour and helping your dog become more comfortable and better able to cope.
Every dog is different, and there is no guaranteed timeline or outcome for behaviour change. Your plan will be tailored to your dog’s individual needs, circumstances and what is realistically achievable. Some dogs take a long time to cope with change, others can show improvements quite quickly, it entirely depends on your dog.
What can behaviour support help with?
Behaviour support can help with challenges such as:
- Reactivity towards dogs, people or other triggers
- Nervous, fearful or underconfident behaviour
- Struggling to cope in particular environments or situations
- Behaviour that is becoming increasingly difficult to manage
- Behaviour that is affecting your dog’s quality of life or your ability to enjoy everyday life together
If you’re unsure whether behaviour support or 1-2-1 training is the right starting point, get in touch and we can discuss your circumstances.
Additional Follow-up Sessions:
Sometimes ongoing support is enough. Sometimes you and your dog will benefit from a dedicated session to review progress or work through a particular challenge.
Additional follow-up sessions can be booked separately and are available in person or online.
Follow-up sessions provide dedicated time to review your progress, work through a particular challenge or put parts of your behaviour plan into practice.
They can be arranged in person or online, depending on what would be most useful for you and your dog.
Follow-up sessions are not included in the £250 Behaviour Support Package and are booked separately at my usual 1-2-1 rate.
If you’re unsure whether a follow-up session would be helpful, we can discuss this as part of your ongoing support.
