1-to-1 Dog Training
Whether you’re welcoming a new puppy, working on everyday life skills or simply want to build a better relationship with your dog, 1-2-1 training gives you dedicated time to work on the things that matter to you.
Sessions are tailored to you and your dog, with practical guidance and homework you can take away and continue working on together.
What can we work on?
1-2-1 training can help with:

- Puppy training and foundational skills
- Everyday manners and life skills
- Focus, engagement and confidence
- Building a positive relationship with your dog
- Handling and cooperative care
- And many other practical training goals you’d like to work towards
There’s no one-size-fits-all approach, so we’ll focus on what you and your dog actually need.
1-to-1 Training Sessions are priced at £55 for a 60 minute session.
Sessions can be held in person or online, depending on what you’re working on, where you’re based, and what would be most useful for you and your dog.
In person sessions can be held in your home or at a location of your choice, ensuring you get training that fits in with your daily life.
You’ll receive practical guidance throughout the session, along with exercises, tasks, and/or games to continue working on between sessions.
You don’t need to know exactly what you want to work on before booking. If you’re unsure where to start, we can discuss your goals and decide together what would be most helpful.
I’m happy to travel further afield to work with you and your dog. Sessions within my usual area, encompassing areas within ~30-minute catchment area from Llanfair Caereinion, are covered by the standard session price but if you’re further away, don’t worry, I may still be able to come to you. An additional travel fee may apply depending on the distance, and I’ll always let you know of additional costs before booking.
Training or Behaviour Support?
Sometimes it’s hard to know which service your dog would benefit from most. Training focuses on teaching skills and helping you and your dog navigate everyday life. This can include things like teaching basic manners, general obedience, walking nicely on a lead, and foundational skills like recall.
Behaviour Support is more appropriate for dogs with issues relating to fear, anxiety, reactivity, and other behavioural concerns. Behaviour support involves a more in-depth assessment and personalised plan to understand the behaviour and work towards positive change.
